tribosolv^± Ltd., is a newly formed company specialising in electrostatic interactions in pharmaceutical solids using the TS 5 charge analyser.

The tribosolv^± Model TS 5 is manufactured to the high standard required for a research and development instrument for characterization of the electrostatic properties of powders. The instrument is a culmination of over a decade of research into electrostatics in pharmaceutical solid systems.

Measurement of charge propensity and decay for pharmaceutical powders after triboelectrification with materials of construction e.g. steel, glass and polymers used in processing, manufacture, packaging and drug delivery, provides essential information relating to the behaviour of the powder during processing and quality of the finished medicine.

We believe that electrostatic charge measurement will become an essential part of powder characterization in the pharmaceutical industry.

The TS 5 analyser provides a comprehensive profile of the electrostatic charge properties of bioactives, selected excipients and powder formulations in contact with relevant solid surfaces, over a range of rh values.
