The company’s key product, Clemex Vision, enables its user to significantly increase productivity and eliminate subjectivity from analysis. Whether quantifying blood cells, crystals, powders or other types of particles, Clemex Vision can be used in an infinite amount of applications.

Hecus Braun-Graz X-Ray Systems

Hecus M.Braun is a leading developer and supplier of instrumentation for X-ray scattering. The product line includes industrial-standard camera systems for simultaneous small- and wide-angle X-ray scattering, both for nanostructural phase property mapping / high-throuput screening in the R&D laboratory, and for on-line, continuous process control in chemical production. Customer support includes special training courses and expert advice with particular applications, ranging from powders to soft condensed matter, and to macromolecular solutions.

Hiden Isochema Ltd
Hiden Isochema manufacture a range of analytical instruments and also offer contract laboratory services for the determination of solid properties.

Techniques and measurements include gas and vapour sorption isotherms, MVTR, amorphous phase detection, surface area, pore size distribution, sorption thermodynamics, multicomponent analysis, diffusivity and TGA-MS.

Our featured product will be the latest version of the IGAsorp moisture sorption analyser with 21 CFR part 11 compliant software.

Imaging Associates
Imaging Associates will be presenting their image analysis, processing and measurement solutions for characterization of pharmaceutical solids. These include:

  • AxioCam – High-resolution color and monochrome
    digital camera.
  • KS Image analysis and documentation systems – Quantitative measurement and statistical analysis including particle size analysis, morphology and surface characterization.
  • AxioVision – Image archiving and reporting.
  • Axioplan 2 Imaging – Motorized research microscope.

Osmic, Inc.
Osmic manufactures multilayer coated x-ray optics, a key component in many analytical instruments today. Max-Flux™ Optic retrofits (model PS60) are now available for all brands of diffractometers (Rigaku, Philips, Scintag, Inel, Seifert, Bruker). Max-Flux™ Optics are available for a variety of wavelengths (Cu, Cr, Co, Mo, Ti, W-Lb); offer excellent flux and resolution; produce well collimated and monochromateic beams. Applications include: Powder Diffraction, TXRF, High Resolution, Thin Film, Texture, Reflectometry, Stress/Strain and X-ray Crystallography. Additionally, Osmic introduces the MicroMax™ system, a microfocusing x-ray source coupled to the Confocal Max-Flux™ Optic. Osmic engineers custom components and instrument assemblies for many x-ray applications.

PANalytical
Philips Analytical is the world's leading supplier of instrumentation and software for X-ray diffraction and X-ray flourescence spectrometry, with more than half a century of experience in these fields. The company has an extensive product portfolio in the semiconductor metrology market.
At the exhibition the X'Pert PRO Alpha-1 diffraction system for all types of crystallographic structure analysis will be shown. With the use of the incident beam monochromator, only the Ka component of Cu or Co radiation is used. In this way, powder diffraction data of superb quality is collected, which do not need further mathematical treatment prior to determination of the crystal structure.

SensIR Europe
The TravelIR is the first portable FT-IR system that delivers lab-quality analysis on-site/in the field. The IlluminatIR gives microscopists the ability to take their sample analysis to the next level without disrupting the sample. Visual inspections as well as spectral analysis can now be captured at one microscopie. SensIR’s unique, in-compartment analysis systems transform commercial spectrometers. Our DuraSamplIR II™ products provide the corrosion and scratch resistance, and versatile pathlength configuration to make routine work of measurements on a wide range of sample types. Our DuraScope™ systems with DuraVision™ allows users to analyze samples as small as 100 microns without a microscope.

SETARAM
Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry devices:
Reaction Calorimetry
Calvet Calorimetry
DTA (Differential Thermal Analysis)
DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry)
TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis)
Portable Thermal Analyzer

Surface Measurement Systems
SMS manufactures and designs state-of-the-art sorption technology for the physico-chemical characterization of pharmaceutical materials.

The Dynamic Vapour Sorption (DVS) is now recognized as the leading moisture sorption analyzer in the field, combining excellent sensitivity and reliability with the flexibility to add organic vapour, video microscope and fibre-probe spectroscopy options.

Inverse Gas Chromotography (IGC) is rapidly gaining a reputation as a powerful technique for measuring the surface properties of powders. In particular IGC is becoming a preferred technique for surface energy analysis of batch-to-batch variability in pharmaceutical manufacturing and formulation.

In addition our latest accessory, the VGI 2000M, allows the control of humidity on a microscope stage for studying moisture induced phase transitions. As well as light microscopy, the accessory may also be used with Raman and FT-IR microscopes, allowing spectroscopic characterization of different hydration states for example.

Sympatec Ltd.
